Same problem 4 gpu without work this morning, rebooted one machine paused and restart the other and they got work

Did you try to change the cause preference to see if that helps ?

Most of my clients are still set to Huntington's after the last debacle, but trying 'cancer' and 'any' hasn't improved matters. Some clients get work after a few retries, but one is up to 26 attempts, with no discernible reason why.toTOW wrote:Did you try to change the cause preference to see if that helps ?

On days like this it sure is annoying that the download progress % does not change from 0% on Status tab.

It would be nice if they would fix the code that REPEATEDLY CAUSES THIS ISSUE.
This is very very far from the first time this SAME ISSUE has happened because the assignment server and the work servers don't communicate CORRECT information on WU availability to each other.
It's starting to tick me off to the point that I'm seriously considering dropping any future work with Folding@Home - I get TIRED of their BROKEN CODE never getting fixed.

Yesterday, my computer was not able to get another work unit after finishing one. I tried pausing and restarting folding, that didn't work. Then I ran junk file clean up and registry clean up, and a computer reboot. After the reboot, I was able to get another work unit.

I believe I've found the error and—at least for the time being—have been able to fix it. There may be some lingering issue that needs further attention, but that's for us to sort out. You should see new WUs coming out soon. Please confirm that that is the case.

Nate, thanks for taking the time to update everyone and for the fix. I've been getting WUs for the past few hours, although uploads and downloads are slower than normal, at least they're getting through.
