This is the topic for this project -
Some Fermi projects not yet re-benchmarked
And if the p8018 will continue for a long time, not too late for re-benchmark. This would save more similar topics and erroneous conclusions (AMD vs NV).

Looks like we back to have OPENMMGPU Core 15 P8018, not the best time in March for the 5757 Credits for 7 Hours of work.
Why have FAH Not corrected the PPD for this Old Project?
Crunching and Folding now it looks like Crunching is the better side at least until FAH can fix what they know is broken.

There never was a bonus for core 15 work units, so nothing to correct.

Then add some and add some more WUs, we something to off set this.
Well moving over to Crunching would correct it.

I fold what I get. You do what you want.

Given the limited resources that PG Members work with, would you rather:
1) Ask PG Members to spend considerable amount of time and resources into Projects that are already announced end of life (
http://folding.stanford.edu/home/change ... -full-fah/).
2) Ask PG Members to focus on FahCore_17 Projects which are going to be the future of GPU folding.
I would prefer option 2 since it is beneficial to all in the long run. The transition period might be a little bumpy but once over, it will be a smooth ride.

For me, here is the bottom line: the researchers get to do science. It is not about you or me. It is medical science that may benefit patients.
Points are meaningless, a mere invented way to keep score so folks who won't participate unless they can tell if they 'win' can feel they are winning.
Core 17 runs slower on my GT 440 than Core 15, my GT 240 still gets Core 11. It is all good.

If Points are meaningless then I guess it time to move on and away from Folding and move all my Folding Rigs over to Crunching *BOINC or Berkeley or The University of California. The Bottom Line works both ways No Folders No Science.

Points are not meaningless. They have a basis in scientific value, hence the standardized benchmark. But if you cannot accept that policies change, and that improvements don't happen overnight with FAH, then you will be better off with some other project. Change happens.

So what is happing now then all I seem to get now are P7660 and P8018 Core OPENMMGPU 15.
So if we post here with questions and you don't like then you target us with old dead projects?
8 Plus Hours of work I really think it is becoming one sided and not any longer about the scientific value but how much you can upset us users.
Users have value as well and you should not forget that.

" improvements don't happen overnight with FAH" it has now been 4 months so you have had more then enough overnights and now over 6 months of poor drivers from NVIDIA for any GPU below the GK110 on your GPU Projects.

I don't respond to ridiculous accusations, especially when that issue was already addressed in this thread back on the first page.
And you are in the wrong forum to rant about Nvidia drivers. Go back to the v327 drivers that work well or go complain in the NV forum.
