You said your modem/router is using 10.1.1.1. Do you happen to know the subnet mask associated with that address? You can probably learn more about the DHCP configuration if you log on to the modem -- but you may or may not have the required password.

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
That subnet mask means that the actual range used is 10.1.1.0-10.1.1.255. Address 10.1.1.255 is reserved for a broadcast to that LAN so it might be needed. I can't see any reason not to enable the entire range even though you only have three hosts. None of those addresses will be forwarded by your router.
