What about HD4600 which is a considerable increase over HD4000?

Relative increase not considerable increase. Still wont fold well.

In theory, FahCore_17 uses OpenCL 1.1 so it can run on any device that supports OpenCL 1.1 (Phi, iGPUs, CPUs, etc). However, from a developmental point of view, it is better to focus and eliminate all bugs on AMD and Nvidia GPUs across Windows and Linux since that is the majority of GPU folding power. Once done, it can be expanded if deemed feasible.

Makes sense, it would be nice to see it working at some point, but yes, definitely more attention needs to go to the main GPU's.
