The stats ran fine manually. So, the problem (likely a network issue) now seems to be resolved.

Sorry if I'm jumping the gun here but shouldn't running the stats manually actually update the stats? The official stats have not changed as far as I can see.

I have a 15 hour WU suceessfully sent 4 hrs ago, but not yet acknowledged by a manual user update.

I see the same thing you two see, of course. I thought I would give it more time before waving my hand again. I suspect Pande Group staff is keeping an eye on things at this point and should be seeing what we see.

Thanks for being vigilant. I would have thought that a manual update would have taken a while to complete given the amount of time that the stats were down but I haven't noticed a time when clicking on the official stats at the top of the page gave the usual message of "Stats update in progress ..." when looking at team or individual stats, so there has been no indication that an actual manual update has occurred.

I will check periodically, no worries. I thought the same thing you did about the manual update, but it was just a guess on my part. I won't pretend to know what we should be seeing and when.

I am now seeing "stat update in progress." That looks hopeful to me.

Sorry sortofageek... the update doesn't take long because there is no change... again. Oh well, there will be a big bump when it starts flowing again.

Another good sign is that I can now connect to the mod database we use to check WU results. I could not do this during the time stats weren't updating.

Yes, saw that. I'm pretty certain they are seeing it, too. From my IT network admin background, I do know this is not the time to bug those trying to fix things, though. From what I have seen so far, I think we just need to be patient and let them do their thing.

There was an additional database down. Dr. Pande brought it back up a few minutes ago, so hopefully things will return to normal shortly. We'll continue to monitor along with you.

3:00 PM EST update worked. It didn't seem to get any of the missed points but the stats are back up. WooHoo!
