Re: Stats page down?
Yes the stats have not updated for a few hours now and not for team stats either
Re: Stats page down?
I am guessing it is the normal weekend downage with no around to fix it. As like all the others ones, the points will get reported/posted at some point in time.

Re: Stats page down?
There is new code running on the server, there also has been allot of debate about how to run the statistics.

There has not been an announcement more recent then those though, so I'm assuming it's the new server code. Someone who knows might post soon, I hope so. I can also only speculate and I don't think that's a good thing.

Re: Stats page down?
THanks for the post. The stats db hung last night around midnight pacific time. We saw that it was down this morning (we get emails from the stats system when there hasn't been an update in over 2 hours) and we restarted the stats db. A stats update is now in progress.

Re: Stats page down?
It has been quite some time since your post so I assume there is still no update yet because of the hours of downtime and the servers are playing catchup?

EOC has numbers for the noon update. Looks fixed, to me.

Re: Stats page down?
Just checked my statistics and my team statistics. Doesn't look like the info has updated. Still getting the 'stats update in progress' message when trying to check my individual stats

Re: Stats page down?
EOC has updated but the Stanford stats page has not. So the flat files must have updated but the Stanford site did not. Stanford says I have 80,969,468 EOC says I have 81,382,479.uncle fuzzy wrote:EOC has numbers for the noon update. Looks fixed, to me.

Re: Stats page down?
EOC is updating points, main site indeed is stuck it seems.
Edit: added that image to confirm Grandpa_01's mention of the 3rd party sites updating.
Re: Stats page down?
I think even EOC (so the flat file update) is lagging - I just worked out my score and got 587 points in the 09:00 UTC update (their 3am) that came from a WU sent in to FAH at 04:54 UTC and so should have shown 3 hours earlier
Re: Stats page down?
I wonder if the stats, collected during server down time will be included.

Re: Stats page down?
Could you give us some more info to help investigate the stats issue you're talking about? THe main stats have been updating regularly since the issue yesterday was resolved and the 3rd party stats derive from the main site, so if they're looking good, it would be strange that the main site isn't.

Re: Stats page down?
I haven't been able to get to my official stats for a couple days now. When I go to team stat's it always says Stats update in progress(timing is not the issue) and when I enter my team number the date of last update is June 24th. Something is stuck somewhere???
3rd party stats are showing up okay.

Re: Stats page down?
The main site was down when I posted ( june 26th 9 am ) after Grandpa_01, or not down but I got the 'stats update in progress' message displaying a time indicating it was bussy with an update which should have been finished already, hence my conclusion it was 'stuck'. Afaik my EOC updates had been ok since the original post about the server being up.
Maybe I was looking at a cached page or something, or the time string on the message is wrong on each update, or it was something else all together.

Re: Stats page down?
ok, thanks. That helps clarify what you meant and to fix the issue. That issue is now resolved.
