That's true, but if a GPU server is down for 3 days, a lot of people will miss their deadlines. If a CPU server is down for 3 weeks probably nobody will miss a deadline.

Yes, midnytwarrior, there is no difference between an expired WU from GPU, or expired WU from CPU. Both are expired. However, as I said, there is a HUGE difference in the amount of time it takes for each of those types of WUs to expire. It's not so much that they expired, but the difference in how long it takes to get there, and what opportunities we have or don't have to return a WU, even if the servers are down for a short time.
