59xxs

Post by anko1 »

This is on my Lenovo laptop. [Lenovo Think Pad: Windows 6.23 Beta R1 w/ SMP; Windows GPU Console 6.20r1 systray; Intel QX9300; NVIDIA Quadro FX-3700M; Windows XP Professional] I've had quite a few problems with the 59xx series, but some success also. Here's some recent examples. Note: haven't had any trouble with the 57xxs [knock, knock..].

Bad WUs:

Good WUs:

Project: 5900 (Run 8, Clone 162, Gen 0)
Project: 5900 (Run 5, Clone 513, Gen 41)
Project: 5904 (Run 0, Clone 910, Gen 2)
Project: 5904 (Run 4, Clone 792, Gen 9)
Project: 5904 (Run 10, Clone 963, Gen 5)

Well, maybe not as bad as I thought. :-) The bad WUs are always 59xxs, and I'd never tracked my successes before.

I've been having constant problems with 5904 in particular, when I play DXVA video (x264) in Media Player Classic Home Cinema. I lost quite a few of them, and it sucks because they yield more points than the 511 pointers I get stuck with. Normally I would blame the driver(beta),OS(beta), or the player, but the rest of the WU are mostly problem free. So I've decided to ignore the issue.
