couldn't open for writing

I just started receiving the message "couldn't open for writing". Then writing local files.

Can anyone explain what is going on?

Hardware configuration: Intel i7-4770K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR3-2133 Corsair Vengence (black/red), EVGA GTX 760 @ 1200 MHz, on an Asus Maximus VI Hero MB (black/red), in a blacked out Antec P280 Tower, with a Xigmatek Night Hawk (black) HSF, Seasonic 760w Platinum (black case, sleeves, wires), 4 SilenX 120mm Case fans with silicon fan gaskets and silicon mounts (all black), a 512GB Samsung SSD (black), and a 2TB Black Western Digital HD (silver/black).

Which client, which OS, need more info!!!

Post the first 30 lines of your fahlog.txt file, and a small section showing the error. Thanks.

I had few of these on the SMP 5.91 client, it never caused any trouble tho. (well, atleast not any i know about)

Windows Vista? Where did you install the client?

Are you a different Windows user than the one that installed it?

Windows XP. Machine has been fine ans processing WU's for quite a while. I had it off for several weeks with the heat wave. When I brought it back online... it can't write.
