According to https://apps.foldingathome.org/serverstats, the server 66.170.111.50 has now sufficient disk place available (9+TiB). Your WU should be fine.

I've finished two different units since without a problem, then this morning I was assigned another unit for the same project, from the same work server. Can I expect the same thing to happen? I have to leave it running overnight in order to finish before the deadline, and I resent doing that if it's just going to be thrown away.
The server is back up, it has about 9 TB of free space now, so your WU should upload without problems.

Contrary to some statements in this topic, no WUs were sent out from this server from the time the space went away on the weekend starting late Saturday or early Sunday. Assignments started again late Monday.

Today I get the same response from 66.170.111.50 as ajm got from 140.163.4.200  see Board index ‹ Stats and server issues ‹ Issues with a specific server ‹ 140.163.4.200 in trouble (can't post link):

66.170.111.50 is now online, it loads snappily. http://fah-w1.vmware.com/
And this WU already has been credited to you (2021-03-20 03:13:37): https://apps.foldingathome.org/wu#proje ... 13&gen=288

Thanks for the quick response. The client still tries to upload the WU:

Code: Select all

17:44:11:WU00:FS00:Sending unit results: id:00 state:SEND error:NO_ERROR project:17407 run:0 clone:413 gen:288 core:0xa7 unit:0x0000019d00000120000043ff00000000

17:44:13:10:127.0.0.1:New Web session
17:44:42:WARNING:WU00:FS00:Exception: Failed to send results to work server: 10002: Received short response, expected 512 bytes, got 0
I think I have to delete the WU manually, as it looks like that is has been uploaded already.

Looks like some router or software is blocking or dropping the ACK packets coming back from the server when your client connects to upload. That could be local to your system, or just about anywhere in between over the network connection to that server. If your client does not get the AK when it uploads, it just keeps trying to send. If it doesn't get the other version of the ACK message that the server already has the WU, the same happens until the WU is either removed from the client manually, or it reaches the final deadline and gets removed automatically.

Thanks for the help. After all, it seems that the AV software (Bitdefender) started blocking ACK messages from 6.170.111.50, other work servers like 129.32.209.201 worked flawless.

How do you know it's bitdefender on your system? It could be on any router between you and the server.

I have notified the person managing that server that it is out of space.

66.170.111.50 and 128.252.203.10 the collection server both seem to be having problems excepting finished work units.
I have had one in a loop 24 times last night that couldn't send another 28 attempts today to send. Eating up my bandwidth
taking just over 6 mins. per try to send.
Points value has dropped from 350k+ to 206k ATM. Please get this problem fixed.
Why does this always seem to happen on a Friday & most times not fixed till Monday?
