[SOLVED] Updated client and control, can't connect

Updated to the latest version of 7.6.9 after reading about it, this is on Linux. The control panel flashes between connecting inactive and updating inactive. It complained about invalid password when the control panel started. I tried putting in the password I have recorded and it still does the same thing. Going to try rebooting since I don't know what the command is for stopping and starting the client.

I already Time shifted back to former configuration. Once the client is finished running a current WU I will attempt to null the password and run another WU before trying updating again.

So to follow up this has worked. This time I've been doing things in smaller bites, I updated just the client and it started working on its own. The next step will be to update FAH Control from 7.5.1. I was concerned earlier about being able to null out the password but that was a total non issue. Just blanked it out and saved, no rebuff from the system.
