Am I folding anything/how do I know its working/stuff?

I have been using this folding thing for awhile when I go to bed. I hit the "fold" button - and let it run. I set it to "any" as I was told that its working on the corona virus right now?
Anyway, it looks like its doing something not sure what its doing to be honest. Right now as I type this its at 33.27% working on project #14190
I have it set to "high" and to work even when I'm doing stuff - sometimes the page lander just flashes at me - so I close that window and use "advanced" mode to look at what its doing - hitting the play button and hope its doing something. I clicked on the protean view but it just shows this animation that doesn't look like its anything special... so I'm a total newb and want to just know that its doing something as it runs in the background, also I dont care about any points I earn or even know what that is about - so if there is a way to give those points to someone that needs them for whatever let me know. k thanks.

If you start the advanced mode and the folding slot is "running" it is doing something

what exactly I also don't know. But hopefully it helps to find something against Corona or other disease.

For most projects you can see a description of what it's doing there (some projects have no description, but that's just from a delay in updating the description page, all projects do something useful)

The Viewer is known to be buggy for some projects/cores (I think it's known to not work for FahCore 0x22) and will just show a Demo protein. Don't worry about it, it's just the Viewer. The client itself is should be working on real proteins.
