How to hand over team with dead email address?

) oh-so-many years ago, and someone is asking to take it over. Unfortunately it was registered with an email address I no longer have access to administer, and it doesn't seem to be forwarding password reset requests to my current email account. How should I proceed?

Actually nevermind, looks like I was able to guess the password after all.
