Web Control can't load properly
I just started using Folding@home yesterday and may have already broken it. I let my computer lock and it seems as if the Web Control window cannot load properly, as it keeps loading, then refreshing, then loading again, you get the hint. This made it so that I cannot use Web Control, and possibly so that I cannot use Folding@home. If there is a way to fix this, please tell me. If I do not get an answer, I will reinstall the Folding@home client and see if that works. If you need video evidence, I am willing to find a way to record my screen so that I can provide it.

Welcome to the folding support forum.
If you are using Google Chrome, I would recommend trying a different browser. They changed something in Chrome a few months ago, the Web Control has not worked well in it since.
Clearing the browser cache may help.
You can also use the Advanced Control - FAHControl - to manage your folding. In either case, they do not need to be running for folding to continue.

Re: Web Control can't load properly
If Webcontrol is not working well, first workaround is to try to open it with another browser. Second option is to use FAHControl instead (Advanced Control from contextual menu after a right click on icon in Task Bar).
Re: Web Control can't load properly
I was using Chrome. I tried another browser and it worked fine aside from something on the right not loading properly (probably my points). I'll use FAHControl for that.
Re: Web Control can't load properly
Opera is based on Chrome, so if the issue is deep in chrome opera would have the same issue. Firefox worked for me.raven562 wrote:Same inoperative web-control in Opera browser

Using Incognito Browsing Mode will also fix the problem on any browser. It probably has something to do with a corrupted cache version, but in incognito no cache versions of websites or parts of websites are used.
