Thank you for reporting this. Something went wrong on the server when it generated this WU, the correct number of steps should have been 125,000 and not 13 million.

I will pass on this report to the project's researcher.

Had trouble with another 13831 job: Project: 13831 (Run 857, Clone 1, Gen 104)

First it was claiming a completion run in ~6 days, then it went up to ~14 days or something like that. I deleted it.

For what it is worth, have a log with it trying to run below. Glad to see the job had an error, not my PC was getting that old/slow from current production.

Do you remember when you downloaded the work unit? The project should have been disabled since about the time I posted yesterday, but any 13831 unit downloaded before that has the potential to be messed up. There are probably a bunch out in the wild still...

Have been having lots of trouble with the FAH client since that 13831 job. As such, have deleted the client (including data), so am sorry do not have exact times that one was downloaded. I am thinking it came in on either Fri the 13, or Sat the 14th. I did notice very long times for it to complete over the past weekend. I think that you have stopped that bad work unit, after getting notified about it.

Before writing this, I reinstalled the FAH client and tried to get folding again on my main computer. So far it has failed, somehow with no jobs to retrieve. Have heard of job shortages from posts over the past couple of days; is it still occurring? My laptop that is running FAH on a part time basis is getting data in fine. I am going to do a system restart after sending this. Then will try installing FAH again. Am using an I-7 Quad-Core processor on a homemade system with 16 GB of RAM. It is CPU only only at this time, have not bought one of those nice but expensive video cards yet.

A followup...

Seems the laptop has been idle since ~3 AM CDT. It has not received a work unit since then. Same here with the new install of FAH on the faster desktop. I hope more work is coming out soon..
