Re: Question on using more GPU Cores
I also have a GTX 1050ti and get about 140k Points Per Day.
One important way to improve your PPD, is to have a Passkey entered. Once you enter it, after 10 Work Units with an 80% or better success rate, you will get a Quick Return Bonus.

Re: Question on using more GPU Cores
That looks normal. The GPU:0 portion just indicates that your 1050Ti is the first GPU detected by the client. If you added a second GPU, it would be GPU:1. The GP107 is the graphics processor on the card.looking at the client page it shows GPU:0:GP107
If you want to more fully utilize the GPU, just move the Power slider over to the right. I keep mine set on full unless I'm gaming, and I don't have any conflicts with browsing the web or other general computer use.

Re: Question on using more GPU Cores
The CPU Core_a7 hates 'large' Prime Numbers and their multiples. 7 is always large, sometimes 5 is too. 3 is never large
Your CPU has 12 threads, but one is used by the Graphics card, so that leaves you with 11. 11 is prime, so the software should step down to 10. Mostly 10 is good, but sometimes it isn't. (2 X 5)
In the Advanced Control, you may wish set CPUs to equal 9 (3 X 3) That will be trouble free.

Re: Question on using more GPU Cores
Your GTX 1050ti may get more PPD than mine, as I have a cheap low profile card and am limited by a non replaceable power supply in the PC. If you see higher PPD, just smile and know you did better than I did.! <G>
