Failed to Install and Startup

Initially, the software would not run because it could not find Opencl.dll, that problem was resolved. Now, after an uninstall and reinstalltion from a fresh download, it errors out with: 0x0000076

I can only guess about your installation. See below about posting FAHLog.

What GPU do you have? Where did you find Opencl.dll?

It's possible that you have installed Intel's OpenCL driver rather than one that can work with your AMD or nVidia GPU ... or maybe you don't have a supported GPU.

You still should already be folding with your CPUs. Right?

That would be interesting, how do you suggest I do that, simply deleting the existing Opencl.dll would leave me without it, correct?

The WIndows installation package includes FAHControl, FAHClient, and a non-working copy of FAHViewer (That can only display the Demo protein).

According to the errors in the log your posted, your issue has something to do with permissions on the files used by FAH.

How did you install your client ? Do you start it under the same user that installed it ? Do you use the shortcut created by FAH installer ? Do you have some security software or policy the could mess with permissions ?

Thank you for your reply, my answers:

1: I downloaded the software, and installed it using as "administrator"
2: It was started by a user with administrator rights
3: It was started by the shortcut created by the installer
4: Norton Security is used, however, the firewall gives FAH permission
5: It will open properly with Microsoft Edge which is strange as it uses the same engine as Chrome
