One thing to note about the log is that I have a GTX970 in the box too and it's only because of that being in the box that I am able to fold on the GTX 1080 Ti. Without the GTX970 FAH refused to add a GPU card to fold on! It is currently reporting the GTX970 as the card that is folding:

I can confirm that the 1080 Ti is folding and NOT the GTX970 from MSI Afterburner

There exist a file GPUs.txt that tells the client what the capabilities of each card is. You may want to run FAHClient --lspci | grep NVIDIA in a Cmd Window and message 7im to get your result added to GPUs.txt.

got my 1080Ti installed under Linux but not yet successfully folding

1) GPUs.txt not yet updated (PM send)

2) Driver 378.13 looks don't know the card well enough
