FAHmon problem

Post by awsum140 »

OK, so I'm not actually a "new" user but I can't seem to get FAHmon running. The client machine is a Win7 machine and I've tried every directory in the FAHclient program data location with no luck. Any advice would be appreciated.

I suspect that FAHmon is not compatible with FAH client version 7. There is no "FAHlog.txt" that I can find on either of my machines running FAH.

FAHmon has not been updated for ages, so it doesn't support v7 clients.

Try HFM.net instead : viewtopic.php?f=14&t=9903 (browse to the last page to get the last version : 0.9.5).

Thanks! You confirmed what I suspected I found out.

I keep getting the download blocked with HFM on Win10. I'll give it a shot on my Win7 machine. It would be nice if the "3rd Party Software" thread had updates or notes, I went nuts trying to get FAHmon working.

Since we're no longer talking about the "FAHmon problem" I'm moving your questions about HFM to the topic discussing HFM. Maybe somebody there can tell you how to have HFM look in a different directory.

This site is based on Donor participation. I'm interested in your not going nuts, but if you want some "updates or notes" there, feel free to contribute them to that topic.
Also note that the final post (from the author of the software) says
