GT 220 (GT216) and constant "Empty work server assignment"

Hello, up until 3 months ago I could fold using my gpu GT 220 (GT216) just fine, then one day it stopped getting WU. I waited for it, uninstalled, reinstalled, changed drivers, looked around in the net for solutions, nothing worked. all I get is "Empty work server assignment". The cpu folds just fine.
I'm on Win8.1 x64 running the latest client.
it tries servers 171.67.108.201:80 and 171.64.65.160:80 but nada. Firewalls etc disabled and still nothing (I can connect to the servers via browser)
I need some help on what to try.

The servers with Core_11 WU's for the older pre-Fermi GPU's had intermittent failures over the last few months. There is a longish topic discussing those outages here - viewtopic.php?f=18&t=26481. The last failure a few weeks ago appears to be final, you can read about that on pages 4 & 5 of the linked topic. Core_11 work was also announced to be end of life about a year ago.

There is apparently some recent testing of projects using Core_15 on pre-Fermi cards that you can read about in the Beta forum. A previous trial release of Core_15 WU's to pre-Fermi cards such as your Tesla based GPU had problems on some cards, so this current testing may be to see which cards are suitable for assignments. No official announcements have been made yet as to full availability of work to these older GPU's.

Yes, time for an upgrade. Sorry.

No further developments will be made for core_11 or core_15.
