The 7.4.4 client is a much better PPD/TPF estimator than earlier clients. That being said, it will still take 3%-5% before a reasonably accurate estimate.

Hourly Production
Time Points WUs
08.27, 6am 2,513 1

08.27, 3am 15,731 1

08.27, 12am 0 0

08.26, 9pm 72,550 1

08.26, 6pm 16,033 1

08.26, 3pm 0 0

08.26, 12am 15,555 1

08.25, 9pm 0 0

08.25, 6pm 73,492 1

As you can see... gone rapidly down in points... pc was left running and screen turned off over night...

I'm not sure what you're referring to when you say "gone rapidly down in points" but if you're trying to see what your PPD is you're looking in the wrong column. Look under "Daily Production" not Hourly. All appears to look fine but I may not be understanding what it is you're trying to say: http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/ ... =&u=536789

The points received for a work unit can and do vary depending on the project and even individual work units ... there will always be some "up or down" fluctuation in the PPD and therefore the Credit. With some projects the work units may be much faster than others so it makes sense that their individual credit could be lower since you'll be doing more of them in the same time period. Also, the credits for a GPU WU with bonus will be much higher than those from your CPU.

sorry bollix,

What i ment was i have been doing a number of 13001 WU's others have been earning in the 75k mark as can be seen in the daily, that one i got 15k for :O

If you compare yesterday with today, today is miles out yet nothing has changed other than the cpu work units (diff project numbers) cpu has been doing 13000,130001 and belive i did a 13002 but dont quote me on the 02 unit.

Ive opened in web control now and its not different to the adv control...

I guess one of us is still confused but I've taken your figures and put the source of those points at the beginning of each entry. There is no huge difference between yesterday and today ... the 70+K figures are coming from your GPU slot. The 2.5K and 15+K are coming from your CPU slot. The fluctuations are normal. These figures are credits, not PPD. To convert them to PPD you would have to multiply them by the number that you can complete in a day. e.g. if the 2.5 k unit took 1.5 hours to complete then you could do 16 in one day so the PPD would be 2.5K X 16 = 40,000 PPD.

cpu:08.27, 6am 2,513 1
cpu:08.27, 3am 15,731 1
08.27, 12am 0 0
gpu:08.26, 9pm 72,550 1
cpu:08.26, 6pm 16,033 1
08.26, 3pm 0 0
08.26, 12pm 0 0
cpu:08.26, 9am 15,797 1
gpu:08.26, 6am 73,389 1
08.26, 3am 0 0
cpu:08.26, 12am 15,555 1
08.25, 9pm 0 0
gpu:08.25, 6pm 73,492 1

Your last two returns:

CPU - P9013 - 2,513
GPU - P13001 - 74519

P1300x can only be done on your GPU ... not on your CPU.

Cheers bollix,

Thats where i was stuck, CPU has done a 2513 point unit and then managed to do a 15731 unit in the space of 3 hours...

Wondering if i had not re freshed the page now..

Is it normal that the gpu is only running at 85% load according to GPU-z

It's wrong to assume that the throughput of the GPU is always folding's limiting factor.

The GPUs perceont load varies depending on the FahCore, the particular WU, and the interaction of the drivers, the PCIe bus, the CPU driving the GPU, and the characteristics of the GPU itself (and possibly some other lesser factors.

Thanks Bruce,

Alot of things out of my control currently, will leave it alone and just let it on with it, only stops to do anything intensive :)
