Is there a glitch?

Post by Ld3441 »

I am new so I'm not sure how things work but nothing seems to work the way my teammates are telling me.

When I click on the identity page there is my name, team number and passkey. I can not click on anything. They are telling me to click on my name and it should go to my page but I am not able to. I have clicked on "save" which takes me back to the home page but nothing changes. I can't click on what is running. When I choose what disease I wish to use, that also changes back to any disease.

Can someone here help me?

Also, in reading the sticky topics I should have been able to choose things with this program. I have yet to see that anywhere. I downloaded the program and it started running. Where can I choose what days/times I would like this to run etc?

Hi, welcome aboard. Which version of the software did you install? I'll try and trace your steps. Jim

Ok let me have a look. Did you use the express install or the custom one?

I'd say express... I didn't do anything to it.

Ok, so we're in the same place right-click on the icon in the tray and select advanced control (if you're not there already).

I've never seen any of this before. I know that sounds dumb.

No worries, once you figure it out it is useful enough but there is a bit of a learning curve. If you're wondering about advice from a guy who joined the forum last week, there is that but then I've also folded some 44M points, I've just been lazy about joining here.

Anyway, click on the configure button up top, does it have a row of tabs reading "configuration" "identity" "slots" etc.? If it doesn't can you put up a screenshot?

I'm happy to help. What does it say in the slots box, and where is the folding power slider set?

Try clicking on your user name there, that should take you to your stats page. If you haven't finished a work unit (and waited til the database refreshes at the top of the hour) then you won't see anything there yet.
