UNKNOWN_ENUM (-1073741819 = 0xc0000005) on fresh install

Hello,

I'm folding for a few weeks now, but encountered a problem after a workstation upgrade.
Before I upgraded my workstation I did not have any arrors at all, but now the client tells me FAILED for my GPU.

My setup:
Shuttle SH67H3
Intel Core i7 3770
Corsair CMX32GX3M4A1600C11 32GB quad kit
Samsung 840 EVO SSD
MSI R7770 PMD1GD5

Running AMD Catalyst 13.9 (already tried previous versions without any result)
I tried reinstalling F@H multiple times as I get project 11293 every time on my GPU and it goes into FAILED.

Anyone else has this issue?


edit:
I already did a full memtest run which came out with no errors.
Also the GPU usage goes to 100% before fail, and temp is around 49 degrees celsius
Everything is at stock speed.

Never figured it would be that easy!
Added the setting and the GPU is folding now :)

Also strange that I was not able to trace this on Google. Found many many different sites but all were saying that it was a memory issue...

A big thank you for the answer that got me back folding :)

The issue is that the last known stable version of the Catalyst drivers for Core_16 WU's such as Project 11293 is 12.8. Some versions after that have worked in some manner, or persons got them to work by using custom installs with the SDK from 12.8. However, Core_16 work is end of life so that is not an approach that can be recommended. Using advanced will usually get you assigned Core_17 projects. Core_17 works well with most recent versions of Catalyst.

0xc0000005 does indicate that Windows trapped a memory exception. While many memory exceptions are caused by hardware errors, problems in drivers and other low-level code can also report that exception. I, too, would have recommended memory diagnostics as the most likely way to identify the cause of the problem but you had already tried that.
