Update server? [stats down - fixed]

Re: Update server?
It is very rare that any points are lost when something like this happens. PG has many checks and balances to ensure the integrity of the data and that no data goes missing. Once the updates are applied your PPD average should return to previous levels but you are correct in that some things may look a little 'off' for a few days on the 3rd party sites.

Re: Update server?
It's a pity it happened and I'm sure PG (along with everybody else) would rather it hadn't, but on my scale of things it barely rates as "mildly annoying"... others may have a different view of course.

Re: Update server? [stats down]
It still seems to be a problem, but this is just the points reporting.. work is still being done and recorded and new units issued.
i7 7800x RTX 3070 OS= win10. AMD 3700x RTX 2080ti OS= win10 .

Re: Update server? [stats down]
The mysql checks finished early this morning, and the stats system should be back up. There will be an update at the regular start time of 9am PT, but this will take quite a bit longer than typical updates.
Thank you for your patience,
Christian

No Christian, Thank You for working so long and hard on it.
I'm folding because Dec 2005 I had radical prostate surgery.
Lost brother to spinal cancer, brother-in-law to prostate cancer.
Several 1st cousins lost and a few who have survived.

Re: Update server? [stats down]
I'm missing credit for one I turned in yesterday, are they still working on this or are some of us out some work?

Re: Update server? [stats down]
I've got a couple of WUs "missing", my guess is that there's a backlog to be cleared.
Re: Update server? [stats down]
There is another issue unfortunately... Hopefully it will be resolved soon.
Thanks,
Christian

Ah well... even I can remember thinking at times that there's nothing like a good database problem to make you wish you'd chosen a simpler career, like brain surgery
Re: Update server? [stats down]
Alright, the stats system is back up.

Re: Update server? [stats down]
Seems there may be QRB problem or something like that, but who knows perhaps the stats update is not complete yet, It appears to be about 1/2 what I should be at this point in time. Seems the time stamp issue mentioned before may be coming into play, anyway it is not going to stop the world from turning PG will most likely do their best to get it worked out.
I am more concerned about my Avatar and signature that seem to have disappeared than the point’s problem at this time.
