No Bonus anymore

Bought new parts for compu.
HD 7990
i7 3930 12 core

The first 2 days running gpu in older system with wu 9800 i had a blast.
6000 base credit pere aprox 7 hours and after getting passkey even 17000 points per aprox 7 hours.
After those days there where no bonusses anymore,just the base credit and the wu's took very long times.
Placed the card in the newly build compu with the i7 3930 now 11 cores and replaced the hd 5870.
The gpu's are getting base credit, nothing else. always wu 11292 and 11293.
I amvery disapointed with al this oddities .
Frustrating spending money time and tears while nothing pays of in yerm of sattisfaction ore havin fun.
Why does so much go wrong with this folding game ?


The standalone i7 3770 is getting lots of bonus.

Welcome to the folding@home support forum Hans.

Try adding an option to your GPU slot(s) for the 7990:

Configure > Slots > GPU > Edit > Add

Name: client-type
Value: advanced

Save > Ok

Your next work unit should produce better PPD assuming you're using a Passkey and it's qualified.

If that doesn't help please post the System Info and Config sections of your log as explained here.

I added the second gpu with youre suggestion .
I looks promissing but i'll know 3 hours from now when the new wu is finished. 7811.

There is nothing wrong with the folding game. The mix of work units changes over time. Just a fact of life.

bollix It looks as if it worked. The ppd jumpt up and down between 45000 and 99000 as did the eta with the time.
In the log it said estimate 9020. atleast it is more then the base credit, w'll see.
at 7im. i admit that i usually don't understand what you write in this forum.
My americain sucks i know. Right know i feel u giving me a bs answer, like to be wrong.
And is think there is a lot wrong in this folding game especialy towards the donors who arent lunix guru's and so.
Like logging in on this forum, wich then tell me i made to many wrong loggins and now i have to answer arrows to. Hell it took a while to figure out the question and name of these se abstracts.

The mix of work units changes. Some GPU work units have bonus points (core_17 = Bonuspunkte) and some GPU work units do NOT have bonus points (core_15, core_16 = keine Bonuspunkte). You can't get bonus points if there were no bonus points to get.
