[ask] p4538 repeating jobs

Post by siadi »

just wondering, i configure one of my clients for a slow-but-sure process. so i set it up to get the small credited WUs. it's been getting the same core (p4538_T0404-8_minout) but each has different Run-Clone-Gen : 1-1-0 the first time, then 23-0-1 which is currently being simulated. is it ok? or should i reconfigure later when the latest one finish? thx heaps.

You're fine siadi and do not need to reconfigure. As you noticed, as long as the R-C-G are different, you are NOT repeating work. The project #, along with the R_C_G uniquely identify the WU.
