I was on the folding home client thing and I was afk there for a while, but It didn't make any progress, it has been on 0.00% all the time.
Does it work for windows 8?
Because I am using windows 8.
What do I do to fix this?

Yes, the client works in Windows 8. That being said, there isn't enough information to diagnose the specifics of your problem. It would be helpful, to us, for you to post a log, including the system and config portions.

How long did you wait? Sometimes it can take a while for the progress to update, typically 1% of the work has to be completed before the % updates. There is of course the possibility that there's an issue and it's not actually running properly, but I think it's best to wait a bit and see if it changes. Do you know how to check if your CPU is being used?
