multiple NVIDIA cards
Hey, I have 2 x Quado FX1800. how do i get them both working on FAH? and does the viewer need to be open for a WU to be processed?

I doubt Quadros are enlisted in the whitelist. to have a chance for them being enlisted please have a look at viewforum.php?f=83 section

Actually over a hundred Quadro's are already listed in the GPUs.txt file. The older cards are listed as unsupported, but a number of the more recent cards are whitelisted. Maybe he has an issue with them working together in one system? Are they in one system?
As I am having hard time getting to fold gtx680 and gt430 in the same system even after I set all the parameters right (or I think they are right)

Since the original post is almost 3 months old and the poster has not come back since, your speculation is just that. There are existing topics for your issues, the problem of dealing with two different cards does not apply here as the poster has two of the same card.

I realize this is an old thread, but in case someone stumbles across it looking for answers to the same question...
I had a Quadro FX1800 and though it shows it has 64 CUDA's, it simply wouldn't ever run on V7. I couldn't get ANY of the AGP versions to work, but I believe they are even older than the G94 based FX1800. I have quite a few Quadro's from various times and the oldest successful one; the Quadro FX3700 folds, but shows unknown on everything BUT, it does complete units properly. Everything newer like the 2000 (192 shaders) and 4000's (256 shaders) fold great. The 2000 though substantially cheaper than the 4000, gets around 9k ppd whereas the 4000 gets around 10.5k ppd. Because these are single-slot, I run EVGA Precision X and set the fans to ramp up on a higher/faster profile than stock. You can OC them some too if desired. Because of the cost of them, and me wanting them to last until they are obsolete, I left mine stock.

The problem with not showing any estimated values is an issue with the server and is a known bug: The server code, the client is pulling the WU from, hasn't been upgraded to supply the information back to the client that it needs to display that data. If it runs and successfully returns WU's everything is working normally.
V7 has a white-list of acceptable video cards. It is quite possible that your video cards are not on the list and therefore won't fold in v7. If you are interested in helping update the list, you may want to start with any that will fold in v6. If it won't fold in v6 with the proper flag then it is very unlikely to fold in v7.

If you don't see it in the GPUs.txt, find the VendorID:DeviceID of your GPU. These can be obtained by running gpu-z and looking six lines down for "device ID" or by running fahclient --lspci (with two dashes) or by looking at the device properties in the Windows device manager. Download the latest copy of GPUs.txt and search for those device codes.
