Error 310 for parts of fah-web.stanford.edu

Post by Jesse_V »

I'm getting a "Error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS)" when I try to access https://fah-web.stanford.edu/projects/F ... etaRelease and other related pages. The SET box of the folding.stanford.edu homepage is broken, and I'm not able to load the "Download Folding@home" image in the original post of the 7.2.9 thread. I can access the team/user statistics fine though. I ran CCleaner to clear all my cookies, cache, etc, but it didn't solve the problem. Are others experiencing this?

Not working for me, I first get an invalid SSL certificate warning and then, if I ignore the warning and click "proceed anyway" I get:

This webpage has a redirect loop
The webpage at https://fah-web.stanford.edu/projects/F ... etaRelease has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.

Well, that's gonna slow down the testing of the newest client version... :(

I guess everyone is trying to download it at the same time... ;)

I'm experiencing this, too. At least I'm not alone.

Hi all,

As a temporary fix, please use https://vspm27.stanford.edu/projects/FA ... etaRelease

This link should work for any other similar issues with fah-web. We are currently migrating fah-web to a new server and we will try to fix this issue as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.
