Passkey Removal?

Post by CowboyNinja »

Well, it seems that I have gotten myself into a bit of a pickle. I fold with my PS3, and since I got a little curious, I went on my computer and got myself a passkey for my user (just to see what is was). I do not want the passkey to be permanent, I can't enter it on my PS3 for some reason. I need to know how to take a passkey off. I've looked around (with failure) many different sites to attemt to find how. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Welcome to the F@H Forum CowboyNinja,

The passkey is optional to use and is linked with the email. Once a passkey is made, it can't be undone. There is a limitation for PS3 and I don't expect that it will change. Most donors use the passkey on their PC while folding. It will not have any negative effect on your PS3. If you do decide to fold on your PC, then you can use the passkey for security reasons.

Ok, that clears things up quite a bit. I thought that I needed to input the passkey on my PS3 to submit workunits. Thanks a bunch.
