Hi,

I have a 2685 bigadv work unit attempting to upload unsuccessfully to 171.67.108.22, which is listed as a classic client server, while all the CS's seem to be down?

Restarted the client about 2 hours later because it hadn't attempted to reconnect again and it has started returning the work unit.

Yeah, one hour and a half to return a 2684 unit!!

It being that way during at least one week for non 69xx units in may case.

The 690x big work units have a higher-capacity server. Unfortunately, the server for the 268x work units can't handle too many transactions at a time. So when a lot of people are trying to upload or download the process can slow down. Thanks for your patience!

kasson, thanks. I suspect that your response a couple of months ago probably still holds true, but for both of the servers to be in a state where no uploads are happening is a bit more suspicious.

The WU uploaded at 19:13 UTC (12:13 PDT) today, so I guess the servers are fixed or unclogged.

OS X 10.7 -> Wine -> FAH6-1.34-win32-SMP.exe -> FahCore_a5.exe Averaging one WU every 2 days except for 2684s which take ~3.
Watched as a "Project: 2684 (Run 13, Clone 19, Gen 69)" has failed to send to stanford.edu since 11:00 MST, now 22:42. http://fah-web.stanford.edu/serverstat.html shows that the main target is up. A 2nd server showed REJECT. I've stopped F@h a couple of times and run "-send 03" with no success and then restarted the next WU. Now folding a 6900 run 18, clone 12, generation 15

I'll keep trying by stopping the 6900 currently folding and running F@h with "-send 03". It has been trying for 24+ hours to send to 171.67.108.22 (Accepting) and then falls back on 171.67.108.25 (Not Accept). I'm curious that FAH6-1.34-win32-SMP.exe is not using one of the SMP client servers, guess it is because "-bigadv -smp 16" is beta.

When this 2684 WU's time expires and/or the current 6900 WU is ready for upload, I will restore to before the OS X 10.7 update and check with 10.6.8 to see if it may be OS related. Making a backup now.....

I am having the same problem with a 2684 WU right now. It completed last night and still has not sent as of today. Is the server just that clogged up or is there a greater problem? I will try to post my log tonight if possible so as to make sure it is nothing wrong on my end.

This is unnecessary. The client retries the upload periodically. It uses exactly the same methodology when you specify "-send N" as when it is the one that decided it was time to try again.
