Hello i need help

Could i get a ps3 for free somehow? (i want it ONLY for folding because game are waste of time)
My pc is 6-7 years old and my laptop is 5 years old so they can't fold so well.
I need something new,i can't take more with old techonology please!!

I don't think your request is placed in the right forum, FAH doesn't give away hardware afaik. If you fold for a team, lots of teams have 'lending' systems where hw is traded among members as long as they keep it folding ( thus they pay for the electricity ). Teams with people with varying electricity costs tend to do this quite often, where someone who lives in an area where running costs is low, has some 'lended' boxes from team mates.

Anyway, the classic client run's on quite old hardware and returns very useful results. 5 to 6 years might still be enough, maybe if you list your hw we can assess and advise on how best to contribute with what you already have?

I wouldn't call the PS3 new technology, it was released four years and 10 months ago. Sure there have been new editions, such as the slim version, but they really only address the power usage, rather than any major improvement to folding.
