Really dumb question

Post by jchebert1979 »

Hello all, I've been trying for about 45 minutes now to find out how to have FAH start up when the computer does. I rarely turn my computer off however, when I do, I always forget to restart FAH. For my applications, FAH does not interfere in any way to the performance of my computer so I would rather just have it running non-stop. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

What OS are you running, and what FAH client are you running?

If it's a windows based OS, the simplest solution is to copy the FAH startup icon and then place it in your startup folder.

Which client do you use ?

On Windows :
Console clients have a Service mode. You can activate it through advanced configuration.

With Systray clients, the only way to do so is to create a shortcut in you StartUp folder.

On Linux, I think there are a few tutorials to make a startup script (like apache, mysql or other deamons).

On Mac ... I don't know.
