I think this one might be a bad WU. The client has been reinstalled multiple times, yet the same WU keeps coming back. It constantly fails. It's happening to 2 people so far; same WU, same RCG values.

Thank you for the report.

The WU (P6067,R0,C72,G45) has been reported as a bad WU.

So does the client need to be restarted, or will it download a new WU itself?

Thank you Bruce. Tis my log Zodac posted above, It was caught in an endless loop of downloading the same WU no matter what I done(remove work folder/queue.dat, even completely removed all client files and re-downloaded/setup again a few times). Had to take off -smp and get a unicore WU, hopefully the project has been removed by the time it is complete.

I also received this WU and also experienced failure with it.

Running Ubuntu, I had to delete the machinedependent.dat file in order to get a different WU.

Folding@Home will go to sleep for 1 day as there have been 5 consecutive Cores executed which failed to complete a work unit.

Reconfiguring the client with a different machine ID can also persuade the assignment server to give out a different WU. Just make sure you don't conflict with any other clients you are running
Anyone remember Marty's Quake II Playhouse? :)

I just reported it again, but there has been no data back on that one since 2010-08-26 08:09:28 PDT.

Oddly enough, while this is usually the case, simply assigning a different machine ID did not work this time.
