58000 points per WU

Post by noob2010 »

G'day,

I apologise if this has already been covered or I'm posting in the wrong section.
I did a search but couldn't find anything but might've been using the wrong search terms.

Just wondering if the stats downloaded from Stanford are accurate?

For example

Code: Select all

http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/user_summary.php?s=&u=450248
The average points per WU for the monthly/weekly and daily production tables seem high.
Then again, I'm a newbie so don't really know what's what!

I'm just trying to satisfy my curiousity :)

Cheers

58,000/WU is very doable on the bigadv WUs. Going by this list http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=11314 a fairly highly OC'ed i7 is capable of getting a 33,000 points bonus, which when added to the ~25,000 point base for just returning the WU is around the 58,000 that he's seeing.

58K to 60K WUs are definitely the norm for me on my Core i7 @ 3.8GHz running the bigadv WUs.
