p1487 : error 413

Post by Peter Potrowl »

Hello,

I just completed a p1487 and I cannot upload it. I get the error :

Code: Select all

[15:32:20] + Attempting to send results
[15:32:20] - Reading file work/wuresults_03.dat from core
[15:32:20] (Read 17941132 bytes from disk)
[15:32:20] Connecting to http://171.65.103.68:8080/
[15:32:22] - Couldn't send HTTP request to server
[15:32:22] (Got status 413)
[15:32:22] + Could not connect to Work Server (results)
[15:32:22] (171.65.103.68:8080)
[15:32:22] - Error: Could not transmit unit 03 (completed February 28) to work server.
[15:32:22] - 33 failed uploads of this unit.
[15:32:22] - Read packet limit of 540015616... Set to 524286976.
I saw on Wikipedia that HTTP status code 413 is "Request Entity Too Large".

Does that mean that the result is too big ? The size of work/wuresults_03.dat is 17,3MB.

What can I do? Thanks in advance.

Download the program qfix which is mentioned in our 3rd party tools and put it in your folding directory. Open the command prompt window. Change to the folding directory and run the program. Carefully note the output from the first time you run it.

I believe you'll be able to upload the result.

If you post the Run,Clone,Gen numbers, we can ask the Pande Group to look into the problem.

Hi Bruce, thanks for your advice.

I ran qfix and obtained:

Code: Select all

entry 4, status 0, address 171.64.65.111:8080
entry 5, status 0, address 171.64.65.111:8080
entry 6, status 0, address 171.64.65.111:8080
entry 7, status 0, address 171.64.65.111:8080
entry 8, status 0, address 171.64.65.111:8080
entry 9, status 0, address 171.64.65.111:8080
entry 0, status 0, address 171.64.65.111:8080
entry 1, status 0, address 171.64.65.111:8080
entry 2, status 0, address 171.65.103.68:8080
entry 3, status 2, address 171.65.103.68:8080
  Found results <work/wuresults_03.dat>: proj 1487, run 0, clone 219, gen 19
   -- queue entry: proj 1487, run 0, clone 219, gen 19
   -- already queued for upload
File is OK
Then, I tried to upload the file again but I got the same message as before...

As you can see, the protein is: proj 1487, run 0, clone 219, gen 19

Do you have a proxy that could prevent the WU from uploading :?:

Project: 1487 Run 0 Clone 219 Gen 19 has been returned for full credit by other people, none of whom are folding with names like Peter and/or Potrowl so there's nothing inherently wrong with the WU. You still should be able to get credit for it, provided it has not expired.

You've got a PM.

I just managed to upload it :

In facts, my HTTP requests are automatically redirected by one of three proxies, always the same, that may have HTTP limitations. I forced another proxy to be used and the result was successfully sent this morning. I was full credited.

Thanks for your help.

I'm folding with the name "[Linux]_PYLan".
