This shows the reason that work is tracked by points instead of work units.

Showing 6 WUs and zero points means that the WUs are not being completed.

Possible E-U-Es, unstable machine, or other WU failures would cause this.

If you want to be completely accurate, the points are "only informative" too. :)

EUE is short for EARLY_UNIT_END which is sort of a universal error message which is accompanied with some other messages telling what kind of error you actually had. A few WUs will produce an EUE no matter what you do. A series of EUEs probably indicates something is wrong with your setup. A high WU count (compared to points) means you should look for the causes of the EUEs.

No, both are after upload plus a processing delay.

When you have an EUE, the results are uploaded reporting the error. If the error happens quickly, you get zero points credit but one WU credit for that upload. If the error happens after you've done half of the processing, you'll almost always get half points plus one WU. You may get less, but that's rare.

Your WUs get credited once they are returned to the server. As codysluder says, if you get an EUE and the client uploads the resulting partially-done work unit, you will get 1 WU added to your stats while the number of points will vary with how much you completed before the EUE. On some rare occasions, you will get a WU that will EUE, but the client fails to upload it due to some strange error. In that case, the client will delete the work unit automatically, but you won't be credited because it doesn't get sent.

Long story short, you get a WU with its points added to the stats each time your client successfully uploads a completed WU.
