v7 is still working well with Advanced Control and HFM ... no one used Web Control with this client.

There had been some scheduled maintenance at their ISP. Is the situation better now or do you still see some issues with certain IPs ?

At some point, the AS should give up and assign something else ... unless you're unlucky and there's nothing else for this configuration.

As far as I remember, v7 client would retry indefinitely with increasing delay (capped to 1 hour) between attempts.

Yes, it was working perfectly fine with v7 client. It would just retry later.

"Please wait" indicates that the work server is busy and can't handle the request. This can happen when it's out of disk space or when it is busy generating new work units. "No appropriate assignment" indicates that the assignment server can't find a work server that has WUs avai...

Yes, these are bad WUs (corrupted files on the server). I reported them to the researcher.

The Device IDs you provided are correct for the cards. I also added a few other models that had Device IDs around these and that were missing.

Issue should be fixed now.

CUDA_ERROR_ILLEGAL_ADDRESS (700) is usually a GPU or driver reset.
