Re: Cannot receive workloads on GeForce GT 1030

I think the error comes from this :
04:38:20:I1:Default:Added new work unit: cpus:1 gpus:
Set CPUs allocation to 0 in Resource Usage.

Re: Cannot receive workloads on GeForce GT 1030

There are two GT 1030 based on different chips. If you have the one based on GK107 (Kepler), you won't get work as this generation is no longer supported. The one based on GP108 (Pascal) will still get work.

You can check which one you have with GPUZ.

Re: Fairly frequent timeouts downloading workunits

Since the client doesn't print the server address, we don't know which one is failing ... :(

If someone could catch this address while it is happening, it would help us.

It would also help to know what kind of hardware was requesting work.

Re: PPD very low for 13014

The issue is that for some unknown reason, these projects don't use the GPU efficiently on Windows, and don't scale well to 5080 and 5090 ... :(

I think 5060 only support 8x speed ... so with a PCIe 3.0, it's probably not enough. :( Can you post a screen shot of the Graphics card tab ?

It's also a good idea to disable iGPU in BIOS settings if you are not using it.

We still need to see logs showing the failures. Screenshots don't help.

Re: p18245, slow?

The main thing that has me scratching my head is why the power draw keeps fluctuating. Win11 Pro, Ryzen 3400G Latest p18245 I saw on my 5060 are in the 5.1-5.5 MPPD range, but these systems are running Linux. You might be CPU limited ... :? No, it's in the 50-60 millions range on Linux with favourable projects.

I see that you are in China ... there might be some blocking policies from your ISP/country.

Did you try to use a VPN ?

Re: Very slow downloads from highland3.seas.upenn.edu server

If you look at the network traffic when transfers are very slow, you will see a lot of packet retransmissions. There's definitely some network equipment (or cable) that is no doing well somewhere in the pipe. :(

Re: Signing in failed on multiple devices.

Your issue should be fixed now. It was something with login API. Clear the browser cache a d try again if issue persists. Sorry, I tried the solution a few times, but the issue still exists with some logs which are possibly related to the problem: 15:01:00:W :CON2:DNS lookup failed for api.foldinga...

Re: web interface no longer works v8.4.9

I think that 8.5.7 is not functional. Where did you get it from ?

Stable version is 8.5.5 : https://foldingathome.org/start-folding/ and latest beta version is 8.5.6.
