Re: Unable to download new WU
And I am now back on a 9712 on the machine that seemed to want a run of failing 92xx's. Got 9712(1,16,23) from 171.64.65.98 and is happily churning away, having immediately beforehand failed on 9712(2,18,208) from the same place.

Re: Unable to download new WU
Setting the client type=advanced and max packet size=big flags snagged me a 9208 from 171.64.65.104 Then it would be the advanced flag that's the one that works, although the max pkt one doesn't hurt anything because I'm getting all kinds of 92xx's (just not the pulled one obviously). It's just tha...

Re: Unable to download new WU
Well, maybe the 9712's are gone now because on that machine I'm getting crashing 92xx's, max pkt 20 being of no help. Somehting else I can try while that machine's crashing anyway? Sorry for the earlier mistake.

Re: Unable to download new WU
And I hope nobody's tracking it because I missed your point, Bruce, my bad. Doing the max pkt 20 test now, was in between WU's.ArVee wrote:...and either/or lets you tell which one actually worked if applicable, but who's tracking this?

Re: Unable to download new WU
I'll go ahead and type this again: try the advanced flag, it's getting me 9712's, similar setup going in.

Re: Unable to download new WU
Having the same issue as the OP. Just one slot out of 34, but it has been unable to download for about 12 hours. Same IP addresses, 171.67.108.45:80 and 171.67.108.204:80 Pausing, exiting and restarting FAH had no effect, same issue. Same as this (same addy's) under no flags and then still nothing ...

You appear to have the same problem I did, a bad or zero-byte gpus.txt file. See: viewtopic.php?f=96&t=27967

Same here on the Assignment Servers, PS3, until about 30 minutes ago when it got back to normal, at least here. Hope it's better there now as well. We must be going too fast or something.

Re: Core 17 has suddenly started crashing
My experience with a number of systems is that the clock rates set by Afterburner at least (to be clear, I never ran both that and Precision at once) are retained whether either tool is being run or not, so the info is getting written and retained somewhere. The clocks are therefore still up at the ...
