Re: No new SMP WU for several WEEKS(!?)
But all the cores are running at ~90% Not just one. A random screenshot from Open Hardware Monitor shows: CPU Total 87,7% CPU Core #1 90,8% CPU Core #2 89.2% CPU Core #3 87.7% CPU Core #4 83.1% I have fairly recent drivers for the GPU (340.52), both OpenCL, CUDA, PhysX and DirectCompute 4.0 are mark...

Re: No new SMP WU for several WEEKS(!?)
Thank you so much for your help :) Now 7.4.4 runs. I haven't testet with HFM yet, BUT it doesn´t utilize all the available processing power. With version 6 the CPU usage was always 100,0% Now it veries between ~85-95% ..and yes, the Power is set to "full" in the web control panel. Any thou...

No new SMP WU for several WEEKS(!?)
Hi I´ve been running SMP-clients since I got my first multicore computer many years ago. they have almost always run perfectly but lately there has been long periods with no work and now the computer has been running dry for several weeks! Currently I have only one computer online because I can´t ke...

Re: My contribution in GFLOPS??
So far I only have CPU:s working for F@H My fastest GPU is a GeForce 7950 GT and as far as I understand it I need at least GeForce 8xxx. I have an GeF 8400 GS + RAM and mainboard laying around, but no CPU to go with it yet. For the moment I only have two machines running F@H on their CPU:s; one Athl...

Re: Dual core processor - only 50% usage
Ok
Sorry Microsoft
How will my computer's performance(over all) be affected if I disable hyper threading?

Re: Dual core processor - only 50% usage
I'd think it would be just the opposite. Your P4 only has one physical core, so even though your OS is telling you FAH is only using 50% of the CPU, it's lying to you. Running two clients is discouraged on that platform. There's only one FPU so most of the time one copy of FAH is waiting for the sa...

Re: My contribution in GFLOPS??
No, of course not, but I´m kind of competing with myself. I´m trying to maximize the practically usabele computing power in my LAN. How valuable the particular WU:s processed by my computers become to the project is a little bit over my head. Anyway, if anyone have any good ideas I would really appr...

My contribution in GFLOPS??
Hi
Is there any way to find out how much I, or my team, contributes with in GFLOPS?
To me that is far more interresting than points.
Best regards
Erik Walfridsson, Sweden.

Re: Dual core processor - only 50% usage
Hi Intel CPU:s with hyper threading seems to behave exactly the same way. I need to run two instances of F@H to get the Windows XP task manager to show 100%. It has always worked perfectly and I have never noticed any performance degradation that I have been able to link to F@H when gaming. I use th...
