Re: 131.239.113.97 : Server responded PLEASE_WAIT (464)
The collection server is set as part of the WU downloaded. If the client is not trying another server, about the only suggestion I have that might work is blocking connections to 131.239.113.97 and seeing if the client does fail over to a designated CS. If it doesn't, then the CS wasn't set in the ...

Re: 131.239.113.97 : Server responded PLEASE_WAIT (464)
Work units will expire in 5-6 hours. Two of them were sent to 128.174.73.74:8080 instead after 40-42 tries, albeit after the timeout period and with very low credit yield, but the other 4 will most probably expire. A first for me. Isn't there any way to force my clients to use the 128.174.73.74:8080...

I see. I hope it get resolved fast. What a waste of perfectly fine work units and QRB.

131.239.113.97 : Server responded PLEASE_WAIT (464)
Hi! Several of my PCs are stuck at uploading their work for at least a few hours. There seems to be an issue with server 131.239.113.97, and with these work units at least, my client just keeps trying to send to that server for some reason, instead of using a backup one or something. 131.239.113.97 ...

Project 14950 : Multiple Bad work units
I don't get bad work units often now that my PCs are "stable". Maybe 1/2000 or 1/3000, mainly due to power surge and things like that. Today, between 20:29 and 2:24 UTC, I got pushed Project 14950 nine times on 7 different PCs. Well, all 9 WU got dumped almost instantly, and these are stab...

This is a very fast benchmark, I think. Happens sometimes.

Re: No CUDA or OpenCL 1.2+ support detected for GPU
Sorry to necrothread, but I had that very issue while setting up a new PC, so I thought it would be nice to comment in case someone ever has this problem under Windows. My issue is most probably different than OP's due to the fact that I'm running Windows, but I had that " No CUDA or OpenCL 1.2...

Re: Best bang for the buck build?
I had intended to comment on this as well, just out of curiosity. Did you have any trends with that issue, or were there failures across a wide selection of projects? I had one single project that seemed to error on my 1660 Super, and it seemed that lower power limits caused it to happen more often...

Re: No bonus
I cannot comment on the 7900 XT, but I had an issue with my 6800 XT, 6900 XT and 6700 XT once. I was trying to find an efficient way to fold, and I did set my "Core" settings too low in Afterburner. Even if it did run fine for hours or days, I ended up having a lot of "BAD_WORK_UNITS&...

Re: Best bang for the buck build?
I may not have wrote it properly, but these data points were taken in the span of a few minutes when I wrote the message. As such, they're from different GPU on different PCs. The slight difference between the 3070 on a i3 12100F and on a 5600G might come down to luck or the typical variation we get...

Re: Best bang for the buck build?
If I may, and for future reference, if you already chose your hardware, here's my two cents. First of all, I have plenty of PCs here. Some are older generation Intel (think circa 2017 and earlier down to 2012 with my two oldies i5-3450), but none of them are CPU folding due to how energy inefficient...

Re: No work assigments...
Yeah, everything is well on my end too. I've seen in the logs that one of my AMD cards was looking up for a WU for what would have been 30 minutes or so, but otherwise, but I did not see any in a "Waiting" state since maybe a week or so. I only look up at my PCs once a day, but still, I ha...

Re: No work assigments...
I have not seen many of these for a while, but did see one yesterday. One thing I found was the back off on retry can get long. If you have the webUI up, stop processing, wait a bit for it to really stop, then restart. I think that causes the retry mechanism to start over. The down side is that you...

Re: No work assigments...
Sorry for the necrothread, but it's still happening, almost 30% of the time on Nvidia RTX 3000 and AMD RX 6000 cards. The GPUs will go in Waiting mode (i.e. They got assigned to a server, but no work unit is sent over x hours after receiving the "Could not get assignment" error) and it cou...

Re: 18717 Is Super Slow & Low PPD
It's seems many people complain about this project. Is it really that bad on newer GPU's? It's low PPD and it somehow takes a long time to complete despite lower than average PPD, but it's really not that bad on modern hardware. It takes roughly 3 hours and a half on a 3060 Ti or 3070. Less than 2 ...
