I did start->all Programs->FAHClient->Folding@home and working again. Thank you. Sorry just getting used to this new V7. I haven't folded for about 3 years now.

My client control says this. I believe it has finished its first WU and now I have this. Any idea? I have disabled antivirus and still nothing new. Internet working fine. I cant find the work.log file so cant post that. Sorry

Sorry I ment 500k per month. So only 20k PPD. Just get a decent 1155 Mobo and i5 CPU and a Nvida 550 be ok?

I understand that I am just trying to work out the sweetspot for my budget and needs. I would ideally like a pretty fast CPU at the sacrifice of GPU as GPU is easy to upgrade at a later date. 500,000 PPD would be nice spot to hit. Any advice on what I should be looking at CPU and GPU wise?

PPD list - GPU and CPU
Hi all
Been away from folding for about 3 years and building a PC to get back into it. Is there a list anywhere on net that shows PPD of various GPU's and CPU's? Trying to work out a sweet sport for CPU and GPU for my budget.

New PC advice - E5200
Ok, just got given a PC to fold on. Its a E5200 stock clock 2.51Ghz, has a frezzer 7 pro. Il try and clock it a bit, have 2gb DDR2 Geil RAM. GFX is a ATI thing (non fan heatsink). Il try my best with clocking it but questions for you guys is What clients shall I run and which OS? XP on at min, shall...

Ok guys I have 3 PC's at work which run Q9550 and a Nvidia FX 3700 each. Can I fold on these and yet save WU to memory stick and take home to upload teh work? If so how? Can I also set it up so over weekend it can crunch 3 or 4 WU and save all the data for me to take home monday and upload at home?
