I took a look at Nvidia-smi and I think that will be the best route. There is a command that lets you manage the card's speed through power consumption. It says that smi is included in the drivers. Do I enter smi commands into the command prompt?

Instead of increasing the fan curve, try limiting the power envelope. Much more effective. I have an RTX 2080 super that I want to heat my room with by adjusting the power target. I would suggest looking at a couple of things:- 1). The FAHClient can be communicated with directly using a terminal, this would directly control the client.
