Interesting. The article summary on page 1 said exactly what I would expect it to say without testing the hypothesis. Namely, that there's not much difference when using a good optimizing compiler between C and Fortran90. Java, on the other hand, is not a language one would use for heavy number crun...

My client was assigned to 171.65.103.162 at least a day or two ago, and hasn't gotten any work. The "18" is misleading, as I tried several times to remove queue.dat and the work directory and finally installed the latest windows up client cleanly. My client is still being assigned to a ser...

I finally killed the client and moved off queue.dat and the work directory when it was running the same WU/PRG for the 4th time. Of course, it assigned the same WU/CRG again, so I killed it again, and finally I got a different PRG, same project. 2665 (3, 165, 40) doesn't work. It gets a NaN every ti...

Running 2665 (Run 3, Clone 165, Gen 40) I got a NaN at 19%.

This is windows smp client 5.91, stock box, no overclocking.

It's running the same WU again, now at 6%
