@PantherX Assuming that those WUs were returned by you, you could delete the correct folder locally and prevent the unwanted uploads Thanks for your analysis and the information you provided. Yes, those WUs are the ones. At the moment there are three in status "send" and increasing by abou...
@knish: unfortunately rebooting has not changed the situation for me. Those "send" jobs just come back and stay there persistently. I wonder if they will give up and disappear when the credit has counted down to zero... ... I'm also not sure if this behaviour is not possibly somehow relate...
Hi again, @bruce: thanks for the information and view point. I guess one of the whole folding community's main strengths may also be one of its main weakness - largely voluntary, no huge funding like within industry, dependency on idividuals and good will / availability .... (don't get me wrong, it'...
Further update: Strangely, the log looked like this just now. Refer to second last line in the log extract below. It actually seemed to try to upload.... " 12:13:21:WU01:FS01:Upload 0.26% " Puzzling. 12:12:29:WU01:FS01:Sending unit results: id:01 state:SEND error:NO_ERROR project:17319 run...
Further update: Same issue still present for me. The WU result has not been able to be uploaded for around 11 hours now. All other WU results that were completed since then have had no trouble being uploaded (on both rigs) including some to the exact same server IP (but those result files were all s...
Further update: The next WU was completed and results uploaded sucessfully. (meaning there is no firewall issue) The previous WU described above is still stuck in "Send" - attempts do continue at intervals ever increasing in time - but none was yet successful. It seems that WU was run with...
Hi again, Re-posting with some additional info: The same issue with that server exists for me too for one of my rigs (Win10 Pro, F@H 7.6.21, number 2 in my signature). On the other rig it currently works fine (Win10 Pro, F@H 7.6.13, number 1 in my signature). Both rigs use the same hardware firewall...
Hi, The same issue with that server exists for me too for one of my rigs (Win10 Pro, F@H 7.6.21) on the other rig it currently works fine (Win10 Pro, F@H 7.6.13). Same firewall. No changes. It's being doing this in a continuous loop for some time and the credit is going down down down the whole time...
Hi,
Observations on my side today, 29th August are:
Only project 13424 WUs seem to be currently being assigned to all my GPUs (NVIDIA and AMD) and PPD down by around 25% compared with e.g. WUs from project 13422 / 13423.
Maybe those symptoms are useful.
BR
Dear John and all others in the F@H team, Thanks for your statement and the support. Please keep up the great work and ongoing improvements coming and we'll keep the folding machinery up and running out there in the other dimension of the realm. ;-) Regards from Munich. foldingfanmucde 1. Hi all, I've found a solution that worked for me (affected system configuration: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X / 64GB RAM / 2x NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti / Win10 64 Pro / F@H 7.6.13 ) The steps taken to restore folding functionality, which ultimately worked for me - but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed at this stag...
I'm happy for the linux fraction - that many of you are up and running again. Even if it is not fully known why yet. The other open issue is the Windows fraction, where I believe (unless I missed something) there is no generally applicable fix yet. Thanks to all of you who are continuing to look int...
.... Has anyone gone back a Nvidia Driver version? .... @JimboPalmer: When I was doing all the re-installing yesterday I reverted back to Nvidia legacy version 445.87 once for testing, but it did not improve anything (so I reinstalled the current version 451.67 and stayed with it since then - Win10...
Has any checked the date on their GPUs.txt file to see if it changed near then? @JimboPalmer: Well unfortunately due to all the re-installations that I did yesterday, including F@H, the date of the current GPUs.txt file on the affected system has no relevance. Sorry. Maybe someone else could check ...
