Re: Main website crawling, no downloads seen.

Thanks for the quick reply Bruce; understand the weekend delay, best. p.s. - Hope they check security issues because it acts like a hack. While no system is unhackable, I can assure you that security is always a top concern. As example, I must pass through multiple levels and types of authenticatio...

Re: 171.67.108.200 - Internal Server Error

I've no problem waiting, it's just after a recent Linux update blowup/reinstall for a second I thought it might be my hardware. ;)

I guess I could go there & hold up a sign reading "Will FOLD for WU'S" :D

Re: FahMon (multi-platform app to monitor various F@h client

A member of our Team Helix folding@Home team, user name Kylemaul asked me to pass along an Idea he thought you would like to consider for a future FahMon. Gave him the link to this post, but he wanted me to pass it along. Idea: Make the color-coded square in the UI window also part of the system tra...

Re: FahMon (multi-platform app to monitor various F@h client

Works fine in Linux (Ubuntu 10.10), won't start in Windows 7, used the installer version on one, the zip file on the other. Opened Task Manager & when I click on the icon, fahmon*32 (think that's what it was called) opens up, then disappears from the list. Tried everything uninstalled the old on...

Re: FahMon (multi-platform app to monitor various F@h clients)

I figured out why it was giving values that were so different to HFM. I was incompetent and used the preferred instead of the final deadline. This has now been fixed in r538 and now gives almost the same values as HFM. There is a difference in the way the ETA is calculated which results in slightly...

Got a p6055. The latest FahMon r538 Uncle did gives the points+bonus as 1394. HFM gives 1372. The bonus calculator says 1387.66. Right now I have FanMon set to calculate PPD based on all frames, will see if changing that changes the bonus calculation much.

Re: FahMon (multi-platform app to monitor various F@h clients)

Well, it seems to be a bit off no matter which PPD calculation option setting I try. Got a new one p6055, HFM says 1398, FahMon has been keeping steady at 999. Of course it's only at 8% now, but will keep changing the setting each 25% for a longer time period.

Re: FahMon (multi-platform app to monitor various F@h clients)

Pretty close. while I had FahMon open I opened HFM.NET & checked. FahMon shows 2083 for a p6701 and HFM.Net shows 2290. Have to wait a bit to see if it catches up later or not.

Re: FahMon (multi-platform app to monitor various F@h clients)

DOH! changed the wrong files permissions. Okay it's running & showing the bonus points now. Just had a little fun there for awhile because Ubuntu had updated my libtool to 2.2.6b-2 so had to autoconf the configure.ac file to get it to compile. ;)

Re: FahMon (multi-platform app to monitor various F@h clients)

Yes, should have mentioned that it's source only for the moment. Not sure why it didn't work, but I'll try again tomorrow and see what's up. Yep, that's weird. I assumed it was like the others, so I tried to compile it, but kept getting this: bash: ./configure: Permission denied So for fun I saw fa...
