Yeah, here is a WU that I got as well, however it hasn't yet updated to display my name on the list. It looks like it was previously successfully completed by a few other people.

Re: Bad WUs
Faulty WUs are always reissued. The project cannot contiue the trajectory unless SOMEBODY successfully completes the WU. Every WU is issued ONCE. When a WU is not returned by the Timeout, it is assumed to be lost and it will be reissued. Under circumstances like that, more than one person can get c...

Re: Bad WUs
Some units are just bad, especially with project 13404 and it's related projects. You can check work units here https://apps.foldingathome.org/wu The first one in your log was tried 5 times, all faulty. If you see any that you failed on but others complete then it's time to worry. I just checked so...

Re: Change in WU after restart
When a WU approaches completion, FAHClient will attempt to download a new assignment. If it succeeds, there are now two WUs associated with the same slot. If you do nothing, the first one will finish and the second one will begin processing with minimal delay. I don't understand your initial report...

Re: Change in WU after restart
I've also noticed that if a GPU WU hasn't been assigned, after say, 10 attempts, it'll impose a delay between the last failed attempt and subsequent attempt to obtain a WU, but if I pause and then unpause the client, the delay is reset, and it is sometimes able to obtain a GPU WU much more quickly. ...

Re: Change in WU after restart
Yeah, maybe they updated the description of the WU, because the description prior to the restart was for a different project, and the estimated credit was around 160,000 points, but I actually ended up getting more than that. I do not see anywhere showing 160k estimate. As I mentioned before, final...

Re: [Forum Suggestion Thread]
I suggest that the forum software be upgraded to phpbb 3.3. It brings some new features, and I don't believe that 3.0 even gets security updates anymore.

Re: Change in WU after restart
Welcome to the F@H Forum woodworth1, Can you please post the log file? You may have to look into the logs folder for the previous logs as they are rotated upon client restarts. Guidance is provided in this topic if needed: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=26036 Here is some of the previous log file: 20:28:...

Change in WU after restart
I had to restart my computer to install a Windows update, so I paused the client, restarted the computer, and then began the client again. Prior to the restart, the GPU had completed about 60% of a WU that was estimated to get around 160,000 points, but after the restart, it said that it was working...

Re: Are work units checked for errors at submission?
Thanks. So are the points only awarded if the WU passes the on-server sanity check?

Are work units checked for errors at submission?
Hi, I recently started folding, I am using an i7 6800k and a GTX 1070. There is an unknown issue with my motherboard, which makes it so my system won't boot if I change UEFI settings, like the ram speed, or fan settings, which limits my ram speed to 2133 mhz. But my system appears to work fine when ...
