Extreme Overclocking site reports zero work recently?
Since 3 PM on 2/2/21, my stats on the Extreme Overclocking site show zero new work completed. My actual computer’s log reports the two RTX 2060 cards completing about the usual amount of work. A few other users I’ve checked have similar stats so I assume that it’s just a problem with that site or so...

Re: Drop in points for dual GPUs lately
Thanks for all suggestions. The past few days: roughly 3.5 million, then roughly 2.5, then the next day roughly 3.5 again. I need to check the logs, have a look at the system. Just weird.

Drop in points for dual GPUs lately
About three weeks ago I was getting around 3.6 million points a day from two RTX 2060 cards running 24/7. Since then, the points have been variable but almost always lower than that, dropping to under 3 million fairly often. Is there simply a different mix of WUs now? For a while, the every-3-hours ...

If it weren’t for the software upgrade that allows better use of CUDA cores, I think that the new AMD cards would have been more competitive. As things stand...

Re: RTX 3070
Might replace my two 2060 cards with one of these. If I can cobble something from scraps I might also run the 2060s in cold weather.

Re: Upcoming AMD gpus and big navi
I was expecting the new AMDs to be competitive with the new nVidias at Folding, but then there was that software upgrade that improves the use of CUDA cores. Unless someone implements something similar, but tailored to the new AMDs, I doubt that they’ll be competitive for our particular niche use. P...

Re: CPU folding is hardly worth any points
I have a 2060 and a 2060 KO on the same motherboard. The Ryzen 5 1600 nowadays just tends them and doesn’t do folding... maybe it should on 4 of its cores, perhaps? With the improved GPU performance of late, I get around 3 million PPD from the two GPUs — though sometimes a few hundred thousand more ...

Re: CUDA Update to FAHCore_22
Numbers plummeting. But I’m not getting COVID Moonshot WUs just now, just a mix of small COVID ones and myosin. So far it’s better than before the core update, and probably will remain much better than it would have been giving these WUs. Still, the childish desire for high numbers remains.

Re: CUDA Update
Just seeing my first new ones just now. PPD estimates for a 2060 plus a 2060 KO are 3.3 million instead of 2.5... the X server settings app on Ubuntu Linux doesn’t work right any more though. Maybe I need to update some software? Or try a reboot at least? These cards are both on the same cheapish mo...

Re: Recommendations on used cards for Folding
I’m using a 2060 and a 2060KO on the same motherboard. The KO is on a PCIe 3.0 x8 slot and the regular 2060 on a 3.0 x4 because that’s all the cheap motherboard can manage. The two get over 2 million points per day in total, despite a typical 85% GPU utilization on the slow slot, sometimes 2.5 milli...

Is anyone here buying a 3080 early on? What would be needed to get it to fold?

The 13437 is (140, 8, 1) and the 13433 is (5, 4, 7). I wouldn’t say that anything is wrong with either, just they take longer than what I’m used to.
