Does the folding client (on MacOS) have something similar to `boinccmd` on boinc or RPC like cryptowallets? The idea being that I could write a script to periodically poll the client and see what it's up to, then add that information to an overall 'summary' web page running on the same machine that ...

I do have two GPU's anyway so that's not a problem. I'll poke around with that hypervisor thing once the new card comes in.

I could also use VirtualBox since it's free. If it can be done, it would have to be in one of those two options.

I have a Mac Pro that runs High Sierra. It's CPUs are churning away running CPU work units of Folding and other projects. But alas, none of them support GPUs on Macs, and this Mac has a decent GPU. Count my vote for GPU support on macOS. I run folding on a Mac Pro. My Mac Pro has a low end Nvidia card and a high end AMD card.
