Thanks. I'm working on my script now.fowie wrote:I haven't tried it myself, but the data is in a SQLite database (a file that ends in .db) so you could probably easily make some code in your language of choice that opens that db and inserts new records

Re: Is there a way to update FAHControl from CLI?
The Fahcontrol uses a SQL database stored in the .FAHClient directory of the users home directory. There is a simple clients entry with 3 data points nane,up address and password. Wow thanks! I found it. For anyone on macOS: /Users/<username>/Library/Application\ Support/FAHClient/FAHControl.db

Re: FAHMM on iOS? Anyone got it working?
Thanks for your interesst in that app. Haven’t touched it for a while. First: the discovery was a kind of experiment and proof of concept but never made it into consideration of the official FAH stack. No direct scientific benefit. UX is not a high enough priority. I might should remove or hide tha...

Re: Headless installation and configuration on Windows10
Popping in from another thread this was relevant to: if anyone find a way to automate adding each remote FAHClient to FAH control, please share.
I don't want to manually copy and paste each IP from a computer lab to FAHControl.

Re: Is there a way to update FAHControl from CLI?
Thanks Joe. I do have telnet through homebrew. The commands seem related to FAHClient on the local machine. I was hoping to be able to update the client list in FAHControl for newly deployed instances or updating for IP changes. Is there a specific command you could point. Bascially the script I'd l...

Re: Is there a way to update FAHControl from CLI?
I think I found it using lsof. It appears to be a serialized data.data file. Not human readable though.
This is on MacOS. Its in the saved application state directory.

Re: Is there a way to update FAHControl from CLI?
It does survive a reboot, so it must be recorded or serialized somewhere. I just can't seem to find it.

Re: Is there a way to update FAHControl from CLI?
I have config.xml pretty well figured out for deploying and configuring FAHClient on the remote machines. What I would like to do is be able to update the client info (IP/port) in FAHControl on my local machine for monitoring. Config.xml doesn't appear to contain the client information for FAHControl.

Is there a way to update FAHControl from CLI?
Hi I'm trying to update FAHControl clients without the GUI. I did some googling and also looked at FAHControl on github but haven't been able to find any obvious answer. I'd like to be able to deploy FAHClients with a script and have it CRUD the client info in FAHControl. Could anyone provide some i...

Re: No WUs available for this configuration
Most likely this is just due to the load on the servers right now. I'll often have clients sit like this. If you're really eager, pause and restart folding every 90 minutes to reset the retry timer. Don't do this every few minutes though, or you're only going to contribute to making the problem worse.

Abandoning a WU
Is there a way to inform the assignment servers that you have abandoned a WU? I have a machine I want to stop folding on, but its in the middle of a WU with a long finish. I figure with the current load it might be better to see if there's a way to abandon it rather than letting it expire. That way ...

Re: Passkey and points
Thanks. When I initially entered the passkey it showed my in-client points total go from 800,000 to 0. Perhaps i'll see if that corrects itself over time. I haven't done folding in about 10 years.
